Leaving Out Toxic Chemicals

Most household cleaners are loaded with harmful chemicals for your pet. But unfortunately, they also have those sweet smells that attract them.

If your furry friend gets his or her paws on your favorite dishwasher, they can easily be poisoned by swallowing the harmful chemical.

Antifreeze is another thing that is extremely dangerous during the cold season because it might leak on the ground in puddles, which most dogs will want to lick.

Other household chemicals that contain hazardous chemicals, like liquid potpourri and glow sticks, can be just as harmful. All these products should be kept out of reach.

Whenever you’re cleaning a surface, make sure you let it dry before allowing your pet to come into the room. That’s because cats and dogs lick anything that’s on their paws.
