#2 Burmese cats

This adorable breed of cat is known to be just as vocal as their Asian cousins, the Siamese cats (more on them later). However, their voices are softer and deeper than the ones of the Siamese cat, so if you have one of these cuties, do not expect them to sound like their relatives. A lot of people who have a Burmese accent say their vocalizations sound much more like a rumble, and this is how most people would describe their voices.

Much like all other cats on this list, the Burmese cats love to be vocal, and they will be making all the distinctive cat sounds, be it that they want to talk to their owners, they are playing, or they are hunting down the birds on the tree outside!

Burmese cats are both very intelligent and confident breeds, which can also make them a bit headstrong in attitude. Yet they are loveable and known not to do well when left alone for long periods of time, especially if they do not have a playmate and they are the only cat in the home.

So make sure you never leave them alone for long, or you will be hearing their complaints!
