Australian Cattle Dog

These dogs got their names after the reason for which they were bred in the first place. They were developed specifically for the Australian terrain in order to be able to herd the cattle around the vast, and at times extremely remote, Australian countryside.

As you can imagine, it would take a lot of energy and dedication to get the famously slow cattle to move from one place to another. This makes the Australian Cattle Dog the best companion if you are in need of a running partner.

They are extremely energetic and need to stay active in order to be happy and at times, well-behaved. Known for their loyal and affectionate nature, this breed of dog is also highly intelligent and known to have a bit of a mischievous streak if they get bored.

Did you guess the breeds so far? The next one we have is one that also works as a slight dog. Click next to see which one it is!
