5. Beagle

The Beagle is another dog breed at a higher risk of developing several types of cancer compared to other breeds. The most common forms of cancer in Beagles are bladder cancer and lymphoma.

The risk is pretty high, which is why veterinarians recommend regular blood testing and checks for bumps and lumps. Beagles and their predisposition to become overweight also increase their risk of getting cancer, so make sure to keep them in shape.

When it comes to bladder cancer, noticeable symptoms are frequent or painful urination and blood in your dog’s urine.
