4. Leptospirosis
On No. 4, we have leptospirosis, which is another contagious disease your dog may get, and you should be careful not to let this happen. This dog disease is frequently spread through wildlife, so experts used to see it more as a rural disease.
While this may not be the case anymore, it’s hard to tell which places are more dangerous when it comes to your dog and their chances of getting infected because the disease is transmitted through urine.
It’s important to note that this contagious disease your dog may get can affect humans too. Moreover, leptospirosis can cause kidney and liver failure in both humans and animals. It could even result in infected humans needing a kidney transplant.
