3. Grapes and raisins

Next on our list of human foods that are toxic for dogs are grapes and raisins. What begins as a sweet treat for you can end up turning your pup into one very sick dog. While most pet owners already know, it’s important to highlight the toxicity and dangers of grapes and raisins, which are some of the worst foods dogs can’t eat.

According to veterinarians, when it comes to feeding these two fruits to dogs, kidney failure is the most commonly observed issue. While experts can’t exactly pinpoint the reason why dogs experience renal injury, there’s enough evidence to confirm that grapes and raisins make the list of human foods that are toxic for dogs.

After the dog ingests grapes or raisins, kidney failure doesn’t occur immediately. They will usually exhibit bouts of vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and anorexia beforehand. It’s important to note that the dangers apply to all types of grape products: juice, dried, and everything else.
