6. Dachshund

The wiener dog is known to be lazy, and he will be your best couch buddy. Turn on the TV and enjoy a quiet evening with your best friend by your side. It’s also not a bad idea to give him some treats; we are sure he’ll not be mad!

So, this is the essence of a cute little Dachshund. Now, they are famous for being hunting and tracking dogs, and they will still have some of those instincts. They will be more than happy to dig some holes in your yard or chase a squirrel, but other than that, they are not the most active dogs, and this is amazing if you are not so keen on going out for walks a few times per day.

They are sociable and get along with almost any stranger or pet. Also, another thing that makes them low-maintenance is the fact that even if they have long fur, short fur, or curly fur, a brushing here and there is more than enough.
