These charming pups have been known since ancient times. Caesar himself stated that he saw Mastiffs in 55 BC, during the time he invaded Britain. They are strong, muscular, and usually weigh more than a full-grown man. Some of them can weigh over 200 pounds!
Mastiffs are exceptional guard dogs, and because of that, they have always been close to humans. Despite their intimidating size, they have big hearts and love to spend time with their families.
