Breeders Had Scheduled A Newborn Puppy To Be Shot Because He Didn’t Meet Their Standards

Amanda was seeking out another Australian Shepherd to be a companion for her dog. She reached out to a rescue organization who shared information about a white dog that needed a home. Generally speaking, an animal of this breed without pigment signals that something is wrong because it was bred improperly.

The rescuers took the dog from the breeder when the puppy was only five weeks old because the breeder was going to shoot the dog due to complications from breeding. The dog was deaf and potentially blind. Amanda didn’t care. She already loved the dog and named it Keller.
