Also known as Newfies, these dogs are known for their huge size and thick, dark coats. Due to their size and color, it makes it very easy for people to think that they are actual, real bears; however, everyone who was confused by them would be glad to find out they are not in fact one.

Originally known as the companions of fishermen, these dogs love water, and their thick double coat helps them stay warm when in water. Most recently, they have been known to be water rescue dogs, and when they are not working, they love nothing more than laying down, playing, and being pet!

After all, how can you resist that cute face?
