Swimming pool

This one is pretty obvious, right? You can’t trust letting your pet be around a pool with deep water. Even if they know how to swim, like dogs, it is still dangerous to let them play in the pool. Sadly, a dog or any outdoor pet may fall and drown, but hopefully, you can avoid that.

The first lesson is to never assume that all dogs can swim. Some of them don’t, but you can teach them. Also, if you teach them how to swim, you should also teach them how to safely exit the pool. Here, there are more options. They can use the stairs, a ramp, or you can get them a pet-friendly pool ladder. The choice is all yours.
