The well-known Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes has expanded his family with the adoption of Tarzan, a golden retriever puppy. In November 2020, Shawn managed to bring Tarzan home with the help of his girlfriend, the musician Camila Cabello. Tarzan’s addition to their family has only enhanced the couple’s reputation as a fan favorite power couple. 

Shawn revealed that Tarzan’s name was intended to be “Poo,” but it turned out to be his nickname instead. This happened during a virtual meet-and-greet for his most recent album, Wonder. Shawn Mendes frequently posts pictures of his playful and energetic dog Tarzan on his social media pages, demonstrating how much the Mendes family already appreciates and adores him.
