Oliver was a stray dog that was found in a family’s backyard. He refused to leave so a rescue team came in to help. The rescue team quickly noticed how smart and friendly Oliver was. The dog was well-trained and understood commands and social cues making it clear that this dog had once had a home and a family.

The dog loved food so much that he would carry his food bowl around with him where ever he went. The team at the shelter is unsure if someone taught Oliver to carry his food bowl around as a fun trick or if he was so afraid of going hungry that he wouldn’t let it go.
