If we look into the history of these dogs, we will see that they were initially bred to guard the Tibetan temples in the mountains. They actually have the temperament of someone who is not used to seeing many guests.

They like and want to spend time with their families to snuggle and play, but if you are going to leave them home alone, it’s not going to be a big deal for them if you plan to give them attention as soon as you get back home.

Lasha Apso is a small dog that can live unbothered in an apartment or inside a smaller home. It also doesn’t need much exercise, so if you are not there to take it out for a walk, your buddy will be fine.
