German shepherds have qualities ideal for various hard jobs, such as guide dogs for disabled people, service police dogs, bomb-sniffing dogs, patrol dogs, or even actors.
This breed is also an excellent family dog. It is easy to train, extremely loyal, and behaves well around children, but remember that it is a high-energy dog breed and needs a lot of exercise.
