Fennec foxes are the world’s tiniest foxes, borrowing traits from both felines and canines. As a result, they’re thought to be excellent exotic pets.
As adults, they can weigh up to four pounds, which isn’t much, so they’re perfect for tiny houses. They can live for up to 15 years and are gentle animals. They enjoy playing a lot, which is similar to dogs, but they also have the autonomy of cats. Although they are generally legal to have in numerous states, there are a few exceptions, such as in Missouri, Minnesota, and Washington.
Fennec foxes are exceptionally friendly creatures if trained from an early age, making them ideal furry companions. Just ensure that you keep up with their seemingly unlimited energy. They need a lot of mental and physical stimulation so it is essential to provide them with an appropriate playground.
These little foxes also have a very specific diet. They need a mix of commercial food, vegetables, fruits, and living insects.
