Laser Pointers

We all know that a laser pointer will provide a rowdy kitty or puppy with hours of entertainment…for us!

But then the reality is that your pet is likely simply annoyed and possibly overwhelmed, according to veterinarians.

Chasing a speck of light can be frustrating because they can never successfully catch their “target.”

If you absolutely MUST use a laser pointer, be sure to toss them a pet-safe stuffed animal at the end of the game to make your cat or dog feel like they’ve won.

Dog-Safe Beer

If you’re having a summer BBQ and you want to include your pup in the celebration, you’re likely to splurge on a six-pack of dog beer.

But remember that these drinks don’t actually contain hops. And they’re typically made with water, flavoring agents, and preservatives as their primary ingredients.

So, that being said, is $4 a bottle really worth it? Veterinarians say that while those beers are usually meat-flavored and non-toxic, they think you’d be better off donating that cash to a local animal shelter.
